Shea Wendt is emerging as Creighton’s high-upside righty who can miss bats and work deep
Wendt’s current profile is built on stuff and competitiveness: in Creighton’s April 11, 2026 win over Seton Hall, he threw a career-high seven innings of one-run ball with a career-best eight strikeouts, and that marked his fifth straight outing allowing exactly one run. Earlier scouting from Prep Baseball Report noted a 94-plus mph fastball and an advanced fastball-curveball-changeup mix, highlighted by a biting 12/6 breaker. He looks like a strong fit for teams that value power, feel, and starter upside.
