Gage Elliott brings strikeout bite and bullpen versatility to SFA
In the 2026 season, Gage Elliott has already shown he can handle leverage: he earned a win with 2.0 scoreless innings and 2 strikeouts against Huston-Tillotson, and later logged a clean final out in SFA’s postseason run[7][9]. The right-hander is a compact 6-foot, 170-pound sophomore who looks like a useful middle-relief arm for the Lumberjacks, with enough poise to get outs in short bursts and enough versatility to be called on when games tighten up[1][2].
