Shane O’Neill brings veteran right-handed depth to Lehigh’s rotation
In the 2026 season, senior RHP Shane O’Neill has been used as a starter and reliever for Lehigh, showing the kind of versatile, team-first profile coaches love, even as some outings have been uneven. The best fit? A staff that values strike-throwing, experience, and toughness: he’s a compact 5-foot-10 pitcher with a senior’s poise, has earned Patriot League Honor Roll recognition, and has already worked through injury adversity, which hints at resilience and buy-in. In short, he’s more “steady bullpen arm / spot starter” than headline-grabbing ace, but that can be gold.
