Alex Valencia brings veteran LB size and steady tackle production for Morehead State
Alex Valencia is a 6-foot, 230-pound senior linebacker for Morehead State who logged 20 tackles in the 2025 season, including 7 solo stops, and entered 2026 as an experienced, active defender on the roster[1][7][14]. His profile points to a sturdy, downhill linebacker with enough size to hold up inside and the kind of reliability coaches love in gap control and run fits[4][11]. He may not be a splash-stat machine, but his value is in being a physical, assignment-sound piece who can stabilize a defense and fit well with a team that needs a tough, veteran tone-setter[4][11].
