Wisconsin’s original glue guy, built on defense and winning
In his Wisconsin career, Josh Gasser stood out as a tough, low-usage guard whose value went far beyond scoring: he earned multiple Big Ten All-Defensive Team honors, shot 40.8% from three for his Badgers career, and posted elite win-driven impact as a starter on a Final Four team. The separator is his connector skill set—smart decision-making, on-ball defense, and steady leadership—plus real resilience after missing the 2012-13 season with a torn ACL. If you want a reliable, high-IQ perimeter piece who thrives in pressure and does the little things, he’s your guy.
