Belmont’s 6-foot-2 southpaw brings a live arm and developmental upside
Jack Morrissey enters the 2026 Belmont roster as a 6'2", 180-pound left-handed pitcher from Ladera Ranch, California, and the appeal is obvious: size, lefty value, and room to keep growing into his frame. Belmont’s 2025 stats page shows he logged 19.06 innings with a 2.29 ERA, a 0-1 record, and 23 hits allowed in 2025, which suggests a pitcher who can miss enough bats and compete in meaningful innings. He looks like a fit for a staff that wants a projectable arm with starter/relief flexibility and real matchup juice.
