6-3 righty Jude Favela brings early college strike-throwing value to Western Kentucky
Jude Favela is a 6-3, 215-pound sophomore RHP who already showed polish as a freshman at USC, working 21.0 innings with a 2.14 ERA and 17 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .227 average.[1][3] His biggest differentiator is his ability to miss enough bats without getting rattled, paired with a strong frame that suggests more velocity/innings upside as he develops.[1][2] For a staff looking for a competitive, low-drama arm with room to grow into a bigger role, he looks like a solid fit.
