TJ Takats brings left-handed pop, speed, and on-base juice to Bowling Green
In the 2025 season, TJ Takats was a steady all-around bat for Bowling Green, hitting .273 with a .422 on-base percentage, 35 runs, 31 walks, 10 steals, and 5 home runs before his year was cut short by injury; in 2026, he remained a lineup piece with power flashes, including a first homer and a three-run blast, showing a left-handed profile that can impact games in multiple ways. The hook here is versatility: he can play 1B/OF, run a bit, take a walk, and give you a tough at-bat—useful traits for a team that wants contact, patience, and sneaky pop.
