Lucas Scroggins is giving Saint Peter’s a high-efficiency, rim-protecting frontcourt boost
Scroggins has emerged in the 2025-26 season as a useful two-way forward for Saint Peter’s, averaging 5.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 27 games while shooting an efficient 67.3% from the field. His value is less about volume and more about impact: he protects the rim, rebounds consistently, finishes cleanly around the basket, and has posted three double-doubles plus multiple strong defensive outings. He also earned CSC Academic All-District recognition, which adds a neat “reliable, coachable, high-floor” vibe to his profile.[7][9]
