Darius Moore brings veteran, sideline-to-sideline toughness to ACU’s linebacker room
After missing much of 2024 with a torn ACL and meniscus, Darius Moore returned in 2025 as a redshirt senior and was praised by ACU as one of the defense’s most athletic linebackers and a past leading tackler. In 2023, he led Abilene Christian with 78 tackles and added 6 tackles for loss, showing real instinct, range, and downhill violence. At 5'11" and about 245 pounds, he’s a compact, physical middle linebacker who fits a defense that wants reliability, energy, and grown-man production.
