Max Hunt is a lean, developing Pitt TE with receiver-like upside
In the 2025 season, Max Hunt flashed in limited duty for Pittsburgh, catching 1 pass for 20 yards in three games while working his way into the Panthers’ tight end room. At 6-foot-4 and around 215-225 pounds, he brings a receiver’s feel, good length, and growth potential, and Pitt sources have praised his versatility and willingness to add bulk for the position. He looks like a fit for a team that wants a move TE with upside, not an instant, in-line bruiser.
