Daysha Reid is Georgetown’s freshman flamethrower with all-conference pop
In the 2025-26 season, Daysha Reid quickly became Georgetown (KY)’s most dangerous freshman guard, averaging 15.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists and earning Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year honors.[11] She showed real bucket-getting juice with a 36-point, nine-three performance early in the season and later added 17 points with nine rebounds and three made threes in a tournament upset, which says a lot about her range and big-game confidence.[3][14] If a team wants a young guard who can score in bunches, stretch the floor and compete like she’s late for class, Reid is absolutely worth a hard look.[11][3]
