Amir Warnock brings old-school size, rebounding, and interior grit to Alabama State

Amir Warnock is a 6-foot-9 F/C whose game is built around physicality, rebounding, and efficient interior finishing rather than flash; in the 2016-17 season at Alabama State, he posted multiple double-digit scoring and rebound outings, including 10 points and 9 rebounds against Tennessee State and 8 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks against Jacksonville State. He profiles as a rugged paint presence with a high motor and shot-contest value, making him the kind of forward who can help a team win the dirty-possession battle.
