Zak Szabo is a power-armed bullpen piece for NDSU after a strong weekly showing
Zak Szabo looks like a **useful right-handed relief option** for North Dakota State in 2026, and he just earned Summit League Pitcher of the Week honors after seven strikeouts across two scoreless outings with a **0.00 ERA** last week. He brings a **projectable frame** at 6'2", 215 and was previously tracked by Prep Baseball Report with a fastball up to **91.4 mph**, suggesting real swing-and-miss potential. For a team, the fit is clear: late-inning upside, size, and current momentum, with the main question being whether he can keep that strike-throwing and miss-bats profile consistent against stronger conference lineups.
