Garrison Madden brings size, speed, and grown-man experience to WKU’s linebacker room
In the 2026 season, Garrison Madden is a 6-foot-3, 235-pound redshirt senior at Western Kentucky who arrived from USC with 24 career games under his belt, giving the Hilltoppers a veteran piece with Power Four experience and special-teams grit. He was a late-blooming defender who didn’t start football until 2020, which makes his athletic upside—plus his track speed and physical profile—especially interesting. His stat line has been modest, but that’s also the point: he’s more “reliable grown-up in the room” than stat-sheet monster, and that can fit a defense nicely.
