Veteran Southern guard with proven SWAC shot-making and tournament poise
Tre'lun Banks has long been a steady, experienced backcourt piece for Southern, with a track record of scoring, playmaking, and clutch moments in big SWAC games. In his best documented college seasons, he was a high-minute guard who produced around 10-12 points per game while adding assists, steals, and perimeter shooting, and he was named SWAC Freshman of the Year early in his career; he also earned 2016 tournament MVP honors after leading Southern to the title run. The appeal is clear: calm, battle-tested, and built for pressure, though his efficiency has been uneven at times, so the fit is best for teams valuing toughness, leadership, and guard savvy.
