Joanes Fortilien brings red-zone punch and mismatch size to Jackson State
In the 2024 season, Fortilien flashed as a big-bodied outside target with 41 catches, 627 yards and 11 touchdowns, then entered 2026 on preseason HBCU draft-watch radars after a 6-foot-5 frame helped him win at the catch point and stress defenses vertically.[10][13] He’s the kind of receiver who can change a game with size, ball-tracking and reliable red-zone production, though evaluators still want a broader route tree and more varied usage beyond go balls, slants and crossers.[10]
