ULM’s JC Dermody brings strikeout upside and a track record of big-game work
Dermody profiles as a **power left-hander** whose calling card is bat-missing ability: at Des Moines Area CC in 2023 he struck out 71 hitters in 58.0 innings, and his prep résumé included 206 strikeouts in one season and multiple complete games, including a shutout when his team was facing elimination. ULM’s roster bio also highlights his win in a winner-take-all district title game, which points to a pitcher comfortable in pressure spots. If you need a competitive, strikeout-oriented lefty with proven durability, he fits.
