Jackson Klein steadies Manhattan’s staff with lefty poise and strikeout upside
In the 2026 season, Manhattan left-hander Jackson Klein has been a steady rotation piece, posting a 5.16 ERA with 68 hits, 17 walks and 32 strikeouts over 45.1 innings, while earning a win with a season-high eight strikeouts in a 5.1-inning outing against Canisius. He looks like a command-first, competitive southpaw who can miss bats when he’s on, and the academic honor-roll note hints at a disciplined, dependable makeup. If a team wants a lefty who can compete, hold the line, and keep improving, Klein is worth a real look.
