Boesen brings senior innings-eater vibes with a legit strikeout pop
In the 2026 season, UNC Asheville right-hander Lucas Boesen gave the Bulldogs a sturdy midweek/weekend arm, logging 71 innings with 69 strikeouts and finishing with a high-water mark outing of 8.0 shutout innings and 11 strikeouts against High Point. He’s a big-game competitor with starter mileage, plus an academic profile to match, and his best trait is swing-and-miss stuff that can survive deep into games. The fit question is simple: if you want a seasoned RHP who can miss bats and compete hard, Boesen is absolutely worth a long look.
