Tristen Head is Western Michigan’s do-it-all senior bat and backstop
In the 2026 season, Tristen Head has been one of Western Michigan’s most valuable two-way presences: a senior catcher/utility player with a proven offensive punch and real defensive reliability. She was first-team All-MAC after hitting .395 in 2025, and in 2026 Western Michigan credited her with 239 putouts, 34 assists, only four errors, and 15 runners caught stealing, plus a 3.90 GPA and Academic All-MAC honors. She brings leadership, versatility, and high-end toughness; if a team wants a steady veteran who can handle the bat, the room, and the game’s messiest moments, she fits nicely.
