shutdown freshman arm with real late-inning juice
Ryne Michaeloff arrived at Southern Indiana as a right-handed freshman pitcher listed at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds, and his summer work suggests he can miss bats and handle pressure: in 2026 with Lima, he posted a tiny 0.46 ERA and 0.57 ERA at different points in league stat leader reports, with multiple saves and strong multi-inning outings. Southern Indiana’s roster lists him as a freshman, and the 2026 team bio notes he did not appear in a game, so the value here is projection: a sturdy, strike-throwing reliever with closer traits, confidence, and the kind of mound presence that plays in tight games.
