Alex Strickland brings size, strike-throwing, and bullpen flexibility to Longwood
Alex Strickland is a 6-foot-6 right-handed pitcher for Longwood who worked in 7 games in the 2026 season and earned a win in a 2.2-inning relief outing against Richmond, showing he can handle leverage and give the Lancers useful length. His profile screams power-frame upside and versatility—he also entered college as a multi-position arm with a strong high-school track record, including a 1.20 ERA and 57 strikeouts in 40.1 innings as a junior. The fit is intriguing if you want a projectable, competitive arm with room to grow.
