Luke Wiseman gives New Mexico a steady, late-inning right-handed arm
In the 2025 season, Wiseman emerged as a reliable Lobos reliever, posting a 4-0 record, 4.45 ERA, 25 strikeouts, and just 12 walks in 30.1 innings across 17 appearances; New Mexico also noted he earned a save and was trusted in high-leverage spots. He looks like the kind of pitcher coaches love: durable, competitive, and composed in traffic, with enough strike-throwing to get out of jams and enough toughness to keep taking the ball. If your team wants a proven right-handed bullpen piece rather than a mystery box, Wiseman is worth a look.
