Cyrus Traugh brings proven playmaking and Mountaineer hustle to WVU’s receiver room
In 2024, Cyrus Traugh was an FCS Freshman All-American at Youngstown State after posting 36 catches, 409 yards and five touchdowns; in 2025 at WVU, he was used sparingly, but coaches have praised his heart and hustle, and he won the 2026 Tommy Nickolich Memorial Award. The 6-foot, homegrown West Virginia receiver offers toughness, experience, and versatility from a productive background, plus a strong high-school résumé as the state’s Randy Moss Award winner. He looks like a smart fit if a team wants a gritty, reliable, high-effort receiver rather than just a highlight-reel merchant.
