Compact New Mexico RB with 2026 upside after a redshirt year
Bowers enters 2026 as a freshman halfback for New Mexico after being ruled out for the 2025 season, so his current value is more projection than production right now. At 5'9" and 180 pounds, he profiles as a compact, quick-acceleration back who can bring change-of-pace juice to an offense if he stays healthy and develops quickly. The big reason to care: he still has a clean runway to grow into a useful rotation piece, but teams should view him as an upside bet rather than a proven contributor.
