Jessica Cherms is giving Montana a reliable two-way spark in center field
In the 2026 season, Cherms has been a steady everyday bat for Montana, hitting .320 with 5 home runs, 15 RBI and 29 runs scored, while also bringing value as a center fielder who can cover ground and create offense in key moments.[2] Montana’s postseason run featured Cherms in the lineup during a stretch where the Grizzlies earned multiple tournament wins, underscoring her fit as a high-energy, impact player rather than just a stat-line bat.[1][3] Her roster profile also points to strong academics and award-level defense, suggesting a dependable, coachable player with upside on both sides of the ball.[8]
