steady UVU lefty who carved out real value in 2026
Chance Wallace was a senior left-hander for Utah Valley in the 2026 season who worked as a reliable bullpen piece, appearing in 23 games and logging 24.1 innings with 26 strikeouts before signing with the Ogden Raptors. His best selling point is feel and competitiveness: he showed he can miss bats in short bursts, including a three-inning, four-strikeout outing against BYU and a one-inning, two-strikeout stint against Utah. He looks like the classic low-drama, high-utility arm a staff can trust in leverage spots.
