Joe Simpson is Campbell’s speed-and-pop sparkplug in the outfield
In the 2026 season, Joe Simpson has been one of Campbell’s most dangerous table-setters, carrying a .320 batting average, .485 on-base percentage, 25 stolen bases, and 28 walks while giving the Camels steady defense in the outfield. He was also a 2026 preseason All-CAA selection after a 2025 breakout in which he hit .345 with a 1.047 OPS, 21 steals, a team-best .608 slugging percentage, and no errors. The fit is obvious: impact speed, gap power, discipline, and polish.
