Dan Kimasa brings veteran size, rim protection, and board work to UTRGV
Dan Kimasa is a 6-foot-8 veteran forward whose game has been built on rebounding, shot-blocking, and efficient low-usage minutes; in UTRGV’s 2017-18 season he averaged 4.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per game, with 31 appearances and 17 starts, showing he can impact a game without needing touches. He’s the kind of big who gives effort, protects the paint, and fits a role if a team wants toughness, length, and defensive utility more than offensive creation.
