Amari Latimer brings power, production, and breakout-play juice to WVU
In the 2025 high school season, Amari Latimer was a wrecking ball for Sandy Creek, finishing with 2,419 rushing yards and 44 touchdowns while helping lead a state-title run; across his career he piled up 5,000+ rushing yards and 78 touchdowns. He was a consensus four-star RB and a top-20-ish national back in the 2026 class, prized for his compact 5-foot-10, 230-pound build, contact balance, and downhill force. He looks like a fit for a physical run game and can also add value as a reliable receiver out of the backfield.
