steady Montana safety with local pedigree and special-teams value
Padraig Lang is a 6-foot-1, 189-pound redshirt junior safety from Bozeman who brings hometown toughness, positional flexibility, and a team-first mindset to Montana’s secondary.[1][2] He was a second-team All-Conference safety in high school, recorded 135 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, eight pass breakups, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and two sacks, and Montana has described him as a fit for one of its safety spots.[2][3] After missing 2023 while recovering from injury and being projected for backup and special-teams work in 2024, he looks like the kind of reliable, physical depth piece coaches trust when they want clean angles and no-drama football.[2]
