Shakur Daniel brings size, Canadian pro experience, and steady guard play to Tarleton State roots
Shakur Daniel is a 6'6" Canadian guard whose value goes beyond box-score numbers: he has added pro seasoning with the San Diego Clippers and Ottawa BlackJacks, and his Tarleton State background suggests he can handle physical, team-first basketball. In the 2024-25 NBA G League season, he averaged 2.4 points and 2.4 rebounds per game, so he profiles more as a connector, defender, and depth piece than a primary scorer. If you need length, composure, and a low-drama role player who can fit multiple lineups, he’s a sensible look.
