Dayton Forsythe is the Sooners’ steady, efficient homegrown guard with a feel for the game
In the 2024-25 season, Dayton Forsythe averaged 4.3 points, 1.1 assists, and 1.1 rebounds while shooting 46.8% from the field, 46.7% from three, and 90.5% at the line in limited minutes for Oklahoma. A former No. 1 prospect in Oklahoma and three-star recruit, he brings poise, shooting touch, and the kind of local-bred competitiveness coaches love. He also showed he can pop offensively in spurts, but an ankle injury and surgery in March 2026 are worth noting when projecting his availability and durability.
