Mercyhurst RHP Matthew Delvaux brings strikeout stuff, but command remains the swing skill
In the 2026 season, Matthew Delvaux has shown usable swing-and-miss ability for Mercyhurst, but his performance has been uneven: he earned a win in a 5.2-inning outing on May 14, 2026, yet also took a rough start on February 27, 2026, and has battled command and hit prevention. He was a two-time WPIAL champion in high school and arrived with a résumé that hints at competitive edge; the fit depends on whether your staff can sharpen his strike-throwing and turn his raw right-handed arm into more consistent innings.
