Blake Brookins brings big-frame power upside to Florida’s outfield picture
In the 2025 season, Florida outfielder Blake Brookins flashed a compact sample of production, going 3-for-10 with two doubles, two runs scored, a .300/.364/.500 slash line, and one stolen base, while his 6-foot-5, 230-pound build stands out as a real power-profile differentiator. He was a No. 38 outfielder and No. 210 overall prospect in Perfect Game’s 2024 class, and the appeal is obvious: size, left-handed bat, and untapped ceiling. The caution flag is playing time—he did not appear in 2026 before entering the portal, so he looks more like a bet on upside than a finished product.
