Nahil Perkins brings all-conference polish and playmaking juice to Samford’s secondary
Nahil Perkins, a 2026 Samford graduate-student cornerback, is a proven ball producer with preseason All-American recognition from Stats Perform and Buck Buchanan Award watch-list buzz in 2025. In the 2024 season at Fordham, he posted 50 tackles, 7 passes defended, 1 sack, and 5 interceptions, showing the kind of instincts and disruption that jump off the screen. He’s the type of DB who fits a defense that wants a confident, physical playmaker on the back end—experienced, competitive, and built to handle big moments.
