Steady Gophers guard with two-way value and veteran poise
In the 2018–19 season, Dupree McBrayer was a reliable Minnesota guard who started all 35 games and averaged 8.9 points, 3.0 assists, and 1.0 steal, giving the Gophers a low-drama, high-IQ connector on both ends.[8] He wasn’t a volume scorer, but he brought toughness, leadership, and a steady hand in big moments; Minnesota also leaned on him as a captain while he played through the emotional weight of his mother’s death during that season.[12] He looks like a fit for teams that value experience, defense, and secondary playmaking over flash.[8][12]
