Experienced ACU catcher with steady contact skills and senior leadership
Sundgren has been a reliable **senior catcher** for Abilene Christian, batting **.267 in 2026** with **23 hits, 9 RBI and 12 runs**, after a 2024 season at Weatherford College where he hit **.238** with **17 RBI and 19 runs** in 43 games.[2][7] At **6'0", 170** and a **right-handed** bat/throw profile, he brings a compact, workable offensive game rather than loud power, plus the kind of game-calling, maturity and day-to-day stability teams value behind the plate.[2][3]
