Georgia Southern Guard with High-Intensity Point Play and Steady Junior Growth
Brian Holmes, a 6-0 shooting guard from Sanford, FL, stands out for his relentless intensity and reliable point-guard instincts despite modest 2012-13 stats (6.0 PPG, 2.1 REB, 1.8 AST, 39.7% FG). His differentiator is not just scoring but his ability to control tempo and elevate team defense—traits praised by coaches for his 'never-sit' personality and clutch decision-making. Though he missed the final four games of the 2012 season due to injury, his recovery demonstrated resilience. Holmes is a strong fit for teams needing a high-energy, low-maintenance guard who thrives in pressure situations and brings veteran maturity from his junior year at Georgia Southern.
