steady ECU veteran guard who brings low-error playmaking and experience
Gaines is a four-year East Carolina guard who has played in 113 games and built his value on steady all-around production rather than flashy scoring, averaging 3.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game with a 41.3% field-goal rate over his ECU career. He profiles as a dependable, experienced ball-handler who can organize offense, help on the glass for a guard, and give a team composure and continuity—good fit if you want a mature connector rather than a high-usage star. His game is about reliability and role acceptance, not headline-grabbing volume.[2][3]
