Davidson RHP with swing-and-miss upside, but still ironing out consistency
Hamilton is a 6'2", 175-pound sophomore right-hander for Davidson who showed strikeout ability in 2025, punching out 21 batters in 18.0 innings, but also posted a 7.00 ERA across 12 appearances, so the profile is more intriguing arm talent than finished product.[4] In practical terms, he looks like a pitcher with enough stuff to miss bats, but he still needs sharper command and cleaner run prevention to become a dependable weekend option.[1][4] If your team wants a developmental RHP with some upside and room to grow, he is worth monitoring; if you need immediate stability, the current numbers say “project” more than “plug-and-play.”[1][4]
