Jose Rodriguez gives Texas Southern a veteran frontcourt scorer with efficient touch
In the 2025-26 season, Texas Southern forward Jose Rodriguez is listed at 10.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 46.5% from the field, a strong sign of a steady, efficient inside-out producer[1]. At 6-7 and 215 pounds, he brings a power-forward frame, proven scoring feel, and enough passing to keep an offense moving[1][4]. His differentiator is experience and versatility: he has long been described as a solid scorer in the paint and from the arc, with quick moves and attack-mode energy that can help a team needing toughness and reliable production[5].
