Serrel Smith Jr. brings perimeter scoring touch and steady guard depth to USF
Serrel Smith Jr. is a 6-foot-4 guard who has shown he can contribute as a reliable rotation piece, averaging 3.9 points in 27 games for USF in 2022-23 while adding steals, assists, and some shot-blocking activity from the perimeter[1]. His best differentiator is his history as a high-volume scorer at St. Pete High, where he averaged 29.3 points as a senior, suggesting real shot-making upside when he has the green light[4]. He profiles as a fit for teams that value guard versatility, hustle, and secondary creation more than pure volume production[1][3].
