Omar Emmons brings proven playmaking and turnover creation to Tarleton State
Emmons is a high-impact, ball-hawking defender who already showed he can change games: in 2024 at Tarleton State, he played all 14 games and finished with 22 tackles and 2 interceptions, and at Mississippi Valley State in 2023 he earned FCS All-America honors after posting 46 tackles, 2 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and a blocked kick. His biggest differentiators are instinct, takeaways, and versatility—he has produced at both safety and linebacker-type roles, which suggests he is more than a stat line and fits teams that value aggressive, disruptive defenders.[7][9]
