Brooks Henderson brings contact, pop, and glue-guy value to UMBC
In the 2026 season, Brooks Henderson gave UMBC a steady infield bat with real situational impact: he appeared in 51 games with 38 starts, hit a grand slam in a win over UMass Lowell, and finished with 22 RBI plus a team-best 11 sacrifice flies. His profile stands out because he pairs a compact 5'8" frame with a disciplined approach and proven bat-to-ball skills from prior seasons, including a .409 average and just nine strikeouts in 2025 at Lackawanna. He looks like a tough out who can handle pressure spots and help a lineup without needing to be the loudest tool on the field.
