Kolten Griffin brings two-way edge and veteran poise for West Georgia
Griffin’s value is in his well-rounded, defense-first game: in the 2024-25 season he averaged 9.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists while starting all 30 games for West Georgia, and the team’s official notes credit him as one of UWG’s best defenders with 13 double-digit scoring games. He also showed toughness after returning from a lower-leg/ankle issue and immediately gave West Georgia a strong 13-point, 2-block outing, which reinforces that he plays with grit and can fit a lineup that needs a steady two-way wing rather than a pure volume scorer.
