Gabriella Sotelo is a speedy, defense-first Spartans outfielder with upside
Gabriella Sotelo entered the 2026 season as a freshman outfielder for San José State and already showed a useful spark: she picked up her first career hit on April 30, 2026, and earlier in the year contributed as a runner in key moments. She was recruited with a strong prep résumé, including first-team all-league honors and a PGF All-American Watch List nod, plus a standout PGF June Premier showing (.636 with 7 hits, 5 RBIs, 6 stolen bases). At 5-foot-3, she looks like a quick, competitive fit who can add speed, defensive range, and bench energy right away.
