NJIT's CJ Wisniewski: Steady-Handed First Baseman with RBI Pop in Limited Action
CJ Wisniewski, a 6-0 athletic outfielder/first baseman for NJIT Highlanders (not New Mexico State), showed promise in the 2025 season with 18 games played, 11 starts at first base, a key RBI against High Point (Feb. 15), and a double plus RBI at Binghamton (Apr. 20)—highlighting his clutch hitting in America East matchups. Versatile from high school days as OF/RHP/1B/3B (Perfect Game profile), he's a gritty, walk-drawing contributor with untapped power potential; ideal for mid-major teams seeking reliable bats and multi-positional depth, though 2026 stats are pending early-season.
