Bryson Calamese brings steady, low-usage guard minutes to Alcorn State
Bryson Calamese is a junior guard for Alcorn State in the 2025-26 season who gives the Braves a reliable, defense-first backcourt piece with some playmaking pop. He’s averaging 3.0 points, 1.2 assists and 0.5 steals in 11.0 minutes per game, and his best trait is toughness—he can handle the ball, defend, and keep the offense moving without forcing mistakes. The shooting is still developing, but his 75.0% free-throw mark and junior-college track record suggest usable upside if he gets more minutes.
